The Tennis Club at Springhurst was damaged today by the severe weather. The club is officially closed tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, January 18 and 19, so all matches scheduled for Springhurst will be cancelled. We will treat under Rule V. H. 2. Please note that the captains involved have 14 days to agree on a date to play the rescheduled match. We would prefer that the rescheduled matches be completed by the end of April, so that we can know the results by the end of season luncheon on May 10. However, if the end of April is not possible, please try to finish in the first week of May (not necessarily our favorite week to try to schedule matches, you know). Please demonstrate the same spirit of courtesy and cooperation that you have all shown each other this year as you try to work out the arrangements. Captains must notify their directors of the rescheduled match date.
